Inspiration for the Magazine: The Saturdays

As well as researching a solo artist, I also researched a band for inspiration to help me make my magazine. I researched The Saturdays as like Rihanna, they are pop artists that I am inspired by. Therefore, their music fits in with the genre for my magazine. They are also a fairly new, modern band that are usually in the charts. This will also fit in with the type of music I want to use for my magazine; current, mainstream music. In researching magazine front cover images of The Saturdays, it has helped me decide whether or not I should . The advantages of doing a band for my magazine would be that it would be a lot more interesting. This is because there is more people, and therefore more clothes and colour etc. The effect this has is that it makes the cover seem a lot more busier. This is very eye-catching which is the effect I would like my magazine to have. However, I will have to consider problems that I might face when shooting pictures for the magazine, because it will be a lot more difficult and time-consuming in contrast to just doing a solo artist.
